Fertőd
28.08.2026. - 05.09.2026.

The Haydneum Eszterháza Festival returns for the fourth time to the historic site of Eszterháza at the end of the summer. As has become tradition, the opening evening will feature a concert performance of one of Joseph Haydn's operas – this year, Orlando paladino, premiered in 1782, with Cyrille Dubois in the title role. Chamber music will be represented by Petra Somlai's Schubert recital and the Gringolts Quartet's Haydn concert. Visitors can once again enjoy a themed guided walk with Ádám Bősze. The closing concert, featuring works by Haydn and his contemporaries, will be conducted by the internationally acclaimed Swiss bass and conductor Stephan MacLeod.
