The park of the Esterházy Palace in Fertőd is considered one of the finest examples of Baroque garden design in Europe. During the flowering season, visitors are captivated by the magnificent Cziráky Margit Rose Garden, which was faithfully restored in 2015 based on historical garden documentation.
Today, nearly 8,000 rose bushes bloom in the garden, creating a spectacular display of colours and fragrances. The rose garden is named in honour of Princess Margit Cziráky, whose legacy is closely associated with the history of the Esterházy estate.
