Programme
Depart from Sopron in the morning. After a short break, we arrive in Bojnice, home to one of Slovakia's most beautiful castles and its famous treetop walk.
Our first stop is the spectacular Treetop Walk and Observation Tower. A pleasant walk of approximately 500 metres leads to the top of the tower, where breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and a bird's-eye view of Bojnice Castle await.
We then visit the fairy-tale Bojnice Castle, where our local guide introduces us to the fascinating history of the Pálffy family. The tour also includes the small stalactite cave located beneath the castle.
In the afternoon, we continue to Bojnice Zoo, the oldest zoo in Slovakia, welcoming visitors since 1955. Covering an area of approximately 41 hectares, it is home to around 390 animal species.
Families with children can also enjoy the popular Children's Zoo, featuring four charming houses inspired by the region's traditional architecture. Highlights include a 7-metre observation tower with a slide leading directly into the petting zoo, where children can meet friendly domestic animals.
After a day full of memorable experiences, we begin our journey back in the early evening, arriving in Sopron later that night.
