Programme
Departure from Sopron (GYSEV Railway Station) in the morning. Our journey begins in Artstetten, where we visit the magnificent Artstetten Castle. We then continue to the nearby harbour and board a boat to explore the breathtaking Wachau Valley, one of Europe's most beautiful river landscapes and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000.
During the cruise, you will experience the region's rich history, cultural heritage, picturesque scenery, and rolling vineyards. After the boat trip, we continue to the charming town of Dürnstein, renowned for its traditional Heuriger wine taverns and its historic castle ruins. Enjoy some free time to stroll through the town or sample the region's excellent wines.
Our final destination is Krems. Its enchanting medieval old town, narrow streets, and historic buildings make it the perfect place for a leisurely walk. Following a guided stroll, there is free time before we begin our journey back to Sopron, arriving in the evening.
